We took a ride in the Boogie Van, this day took us to beautiful Kanaha Beach Park in Kahului, Maui. This beach is not more than a 5 minute drive from the cruise ship port in Kahului. It has accessible restrooms, picnic tables, and BBQ grills. The grass is flat enough that a person in a wheelchair can get quite close to the water. The water, at least today, was quite friendly with a shallow beach area for children to swim, and the waves were minimal. This beach is a favorite for kite surfing and on more windy days will be populated with kite surfers offering free entertainment. The park was clean and well maintained, and we give it a 4 out of 5 star rating!
